Exploring European Transportation – The Polish Chapter

In cities and suburban areas across Poland, local public buses are predominantly of the locally-produced Solaris brand, with a few MAN Lion’s City buses also participating in operations.

In front of Warsaw Central Railway Station, the predominant bus models at the bus station are Solaris Urbino 12/15/18.

The widely used European-style light commercial vehicles in the country, as the name suggests, originate from Europe. Light-duty commercial vehicles are extensively utilized in Europe for various purposes, including passenger transport, urban delivery, and modifications, with a rich variety of brands available.

The FSC STAR (Polish: Polska Fabryka Samochodów Ciężarowych STAR) trucks in Poland were produced by a commercial vehicle manufacturer established in post-war Poland and later acquired by MAN.

Passenger transport, urban delivery, and express services often feature light commercial vehicles on the streets of Poland. Vehicle brands include Volkswagen, Renault, Iveco, Fiat, and others.
